Here at St. Augustine it is our goal to give every child the chance to be an active member on any sport they chose to be involved in.  We have been fortunate through the years that our sports program has placed high in the Blue Water Vicariate League.  We owe that good fortune to having dedicated and active parents and coaches in our school.   For girl's we offer JV and Varsity Basketball, JV and Varsity Cheerleading, Volleyball and Track.  For the boy's we offer JV and Varsity Basketball, Flag Football, and Track.

The Athletic Association Members are:  Janice Dolan; President,  Lynn Griffith; Vice Chairperson,  Nancy Schaller; Treasurer,  and Pam Wesolowski; Secretary.  These members can be reached by calling the school office.

 We are proud to have such talented children that make up our basketball teams here at St. A's.  We have been lucky over the years that our basketball seasons have been successful in their quest for victory.  The girls have fun and display a winning attitude which makes this school proud.  Keep up the good work ladies.

One other exciting event that our girls partake in is the annual varsity team against the St. Augustine staff.  Teachers, office staff and even the principal come out to challenge our girls at their own game.  Everyone has a good time and we help raise money to support the school budget.
              

 

Our Cheerleaders do a great job showing their support for our boy's basketball teams. Hope to see more of those "stand up" cheers again next year. Thanks also to our coach for her dedication to our squad.  GO SAINTS!!

 

 

The St. A's Girl's Volleyball team gave a great effort this year.

Our girls are fortunate to have a dedicated coach who, besides raising a family and working full-time, continues to teach our girls the fundamentals of the game.

Our boys basketball teams consists of Junior Varsity for fifth and sixth grades and Varsity for seventh and eighth grades.  We have been fortunate over the years to have a top placed team in the Blue Water Vicariate.  These young boys work hard together as a team and they enjoy playing the game. 

Congratulations JV Boys for winning 2nd Place in the Tournament.  This is St. Augustine's first time to hold the tournament at our facilities.  With the help of several people, the tournament ran exceptionally well.

The boys flag football had a good season this year.  In their quest for victory they fell short but they'll be back, geared up and ready to play next year.  The kids enjoyed everyone who came out to cheer them on.  Thanks for another good season boys.          

 

Track season starts in April.  Children in grades 5-8 have the opportunity to participate.  Parents need to inform the office if you're interested in joining the team.  Meets are the first three Saturdays in May.
