HOMEWORK

RELIGION--We will begin chapter 19 "Mary, Model of Discipleship". The test will be on Wednesday, May 24th.
ENGLISH--- . We will continue to work on our informative/ explanatory text. The final typed 5 paragraph paper is due May, 31st. The students will work in the computer lab this week and next. They will need to do some of the work at home. If they are unable to type it at home, the students are allowed to come in early and type it at school.
VOCABULARY-We will work on skills in the ELA book and individual hand-outs.
READING-We will continue to work on our books for Literature Circle. Your child is either reading Swindle, A Corner of the Universe, or Give Me Liberty . We will work on other skills from the ELA book.
MATH-We are working on reviewing concepts that we have worked on all year. We are working on concepts and terminology that they will use in standardized testing.
SCIENCE--- We will continue to work on chapter 11 Using forces. Motion, Forces, and Energy. There will be a quiz over section4 on Wednesday. We will work on pages618-621 this week. We will begin our experiment designs. They will be working on them in school. The finish project is due Wednesday, May 31st. The chapter 11 test is on June 2nd.
SOCIAL STUDIES-   We will work on chapter 9 this week. "Winning the Revolution" pages296-323. The test is scheduled for the 25th of May.

Dear Parents,
      We have a lot to accomplish these next two weeks. Please know that I am in school early if your child needs help or extra time to work on assignments. We have a test on Thursday in Social Studies, Religion test on Wednesday, May 24th.
     We will continue to work on the paper that is due May 31st. We will be in the computer lab everyday this week. We will start the experiment projects on Monday. The students will be in groups of three. The students will get directions and a rubric on Monday.
     The students will have two math tests: Thursday, May 25th and Friday, June 2nd.
Math help is every Tuesday at 7:30am.
